Advantages of ordinary wire thread inserts

1. Strong versatility, convenient production organization, and wide range of varieties. All specifications of screws and ordinary wire thread inserts can be quickly produced;

2. The technology is mature, the manufacturing equipment is stereotyped and advanced, and the ex-factory price is superior to threaded inserts with the same function, which reduces the customer's procurement cost;

3. The installation is very easy to achieve electric semi-automation, which improves the assembly efficiency of customers using batches. The supporting threaded mounting rod production technology is mature and cost-effective, and it is easy to realize rapid switching of different specifications;

4. For blind holes, the thread depth of the bottom hole can be designed to be 1-2 turns longer than the effective connection length of the screw, so that the tail shank does not need to be removed, thereby improving assembly efficiency.


Disadvantages of ordinary wire thread inserts


1. After the installation is completed, for the through hole, the tail shank needs to be removed, and the process of removing the tail shank is added;

2. It is necessary to know the installation direction of the tail handle during installation, which limits the faster improvement of installation efficiency.

Advantages of ordinary tangless thread inserts


1. Installation drive slots are added at both ends of the threaded inserts, and a special threaded head installation wrench is used for installation. There is no need to distinguish the direction of the thread inserts, just install it directly, which greatly improves the installation efficiency of the threaded inserts;

2. There is no tail shank and does not need to be removed, which reduces the process of removing the tail shank;


Disadvantages of ordinary tangless thread inserts

1. Weak versatility, narrow range of varieties, metric specifications are limited to M2 ~ M12, and the length is limited, so it cannot produce suitable lengths according to customer requirements;

2. Affected by technology, equipment, and production efficiency, the customer's procurement cost increases by 2-3 times compared with tangless thread inserts;

3. Due to the structural constraints of the threaded insert, the tooling for installing tangless threaded inserts is difficult and takes a long time to process. The purchase price is 8-10 times higher than that of ordinary steel wire threaded inserts.
