Wire thread insert removal handle, how to operate?
I think many friends know how to install the wire thread insert, but the wire thread insert needs to remove the tail handle after installation, how to remove the tail handle? Let's take a look at that today
- Insert the special punch of the wire thread insertinto the threaded hole of the assembled wire thread insert, and use the punch rod of the punch tool to withstand the mounting handle of the wire thread insert.
- Use a hammer of about 200g to knock the punch rod to remove the mounting handle, and the size and direction of the knocking force should be accurate, so that the mounting handle can fall off completely.(You can also use our automatic tail handle removal tool directly removed, very convenient and quick)
- If it is in a through hole environment, the removed tail stalk will fall out directly, if it is in a blind hole, it needs to be removed.Use pliers or tweezers to remove the installation handle that is punched off to avoid future trouble. When it is found that the installation of the wire thread insertis wrong or the installation of the wire thread insertis unqualified, etc., it will affect the normal use of the bolt after installation, or the previously installed wire thread insert will affect the normal use of the internal thread formed by the wire thread insert due to wear and elasticity reduction due to too long use time, and it is necessary to remove the wire thread insert. How to get it out is as follows? Place the thread insert remover with a cutting edge vertically into the thread hole formed by the wire thread insert, gently knock with a hammer, apply axial force to make the cutting edge part of the sleeve firmly stuck in the wire thread insert, and then screw out the wire thread insert in the opposite direction of the thread. The removed wire thread insert can no longer be used.
After the wire thread insert is removed, a new wire screw is put in again, and the thread hole is new again.
